Jane has 20 years' experience of working with communities in Wales, England - and in Africa.

On community consultation, feasibility, business planning, marketing, access to finance, fundraising, project management, grants assessment, training and mentoring; or any other issue your community enterprise may be facing.

Her experience and qualifications include:

• Working relationships with national social enterprise organisations in Wales and England including Co-operatives UK, Plunkett Foundation and consultancy.coop. Jane is a Trustee of the Plunkett Foundation.

• Detailed knowledge of legal structures for the social enterprise sector.

• SFEDI (Small Firm Enterprise Development Initiative) accredited business adviser since 2003.

• Member of the Institute of Fundraising.

• Professional social enterprise training for business advisers, local authority staff and members, and third sector representatives

• MBA (Masters in Business Administration) from the University of Bath – awarded a distinction for her final dissertation, which considered "the merits of Wiltshire Maternity Services becoming a social enterprise". Copies available on request.

• A farmer's daughter, Jane has an instinctive knowledge and empathy of working in rural communities. She has been a Welsh learner since 1994.

• Jane has always been an active volunteer in her local community, and has personally raised £1,000s for good causes.
